Windows Server Support
NetResponse provides a wide range of Microsoft Windows server support services that are tailored to your requirements. We offer support on an occasional ‘Break Fix’ basis or a fully managed service, monitoring and maintaining all aspects of the Windows server.
Our support engineers are highly experienced and work with all versions of Windows server from Windows NT4 right up to the latest Windows 2016 server. Standard server support is available from 8:00am to 6:00pm every weekday and from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. We also provide 24/7 support by special arrangement.
Most Windows server support is carried out using remote access software which allows us to respond to support cases very rapidly. When the situation requires we go to the server location to perform support tasks.
Below are some of the areas where we can help support Windows server
Server Booting Problems – If your server won’t boot we have the tools and expertise to get your system back on its feet. We have a very high success rate of recovering Windows server from blue screens, blinking cursor, stuck on start-up screen and systems that won’t even power on.
Server Virtualisation – Hosted Windows servers are common place and provide many advantages over their physical counterparts, but virtual machines still have their share of problems. Our extensive knowledge of virtualisation allows us to provide fast and reliable support for VMWare and Hyper-V
Active Directory – AD Migrations, domain consolidation or day to day AD support. Whatever AD support you require our support team can help.
Hardware upgrades & Repairs – We specialise in Dell and HP hardware, but we can upgrade or supply hardware for most models of server.
Network services – Windows servers provide a variety of network services including DHCP, RRAS, DNS all of which are critical to a network functioning correctly. We have Cisco qualified engineers who know how to quickly get a network backup and running.
Backend applications – As well as working with Windows server we also support a large number of backend applications; including Exchange, SQL, CRM, SharePoint and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
Software Updates & Patches – Regular updates are vital if a server and clients are to remain secure and reliable.
Server migrations – Moving servers to hosted cloud service, converting physical servers to virtual (P2V) and migration from an old Windows operating system to the latest version.
Server Security – Keeping a server secure is vital and to achieve this requires constant maintenance and up to date knowledge.
Health checks – Regular health checks along with regular monitoring can dramatically reduce server downtime. Preventing (usually) minor issues escalating into something that can cost a lot of time and money.
